Volunteering in the U.S.A.
The Brazilian Children's Charity offers a steady and challenging chance for volunteers. We have tremendous opportunities for those self-starting people who are looking for a challenge and ready to make a change. If you like a fast-paced, high performance work environment, consider joining Brazilian Children's Charity volunteer staff. Some responsibilities include assisting in planning and attending B.C.C. events, clerical work, fundraising, etc. Also, volunteers are encouraged to assist in their specialty, i.e. if a volunteer is a psychologist, they may have suggestions on client treatments.

Volunteering in Brazil
Also, the Brazilian Children's Charity offers opportunities for both Brazilians and foreign nationals to volunteer in Brazil. Volunteers are required to have at least a minimum understanding of Portuguese (if not fluent in Portuguese, then a command of Spanish is useful) and some English. The volunteers work directly with our students and staff. The work is comprised of clerical duties, following students on client visits and interacting with the general public, i.e. handing out flyers, assisting with advertising, etc. Also, volunteers are encouraged to assist in their specialty, i.e. if a volunteer is a psychologist, they may have suggestions on client treatments. Our volunteer program is another example of the B.C.C. achieving one of its goals: strengthening both professional and social bonds between other countries and Brazil.
