Expansion of the B.C.C. to Germany/Europe
In 2011, the B.C.C. plans to open another non-profit in Europe.  This new B.C.C. will be based out of Freiburg, Germany and will follow the same mission statement as the Brazilian Children's Charity based in Seattle, Wa, U.S.A. and the Brasileira Crianças Caridade based out of Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil.  Like the B.C.C. Brazil and U.S.A., the European non-profit will be a self-controlled entity and have a separate Board of Directors, with at least one Brazilian and one U.S. Board Member.
This creates a capacity building and sustainable B.C.C.  During the recent global crisis, many non-profits and foundations were forced to permanently close their doors.  In the future, the B.C.C. will  have not two, but three funding sources:  The Real of Brazil, the Dollar of the United States and the Euro of Germany.  Three continents, three funding sources and three different cultural perspectives with one goal in mind:  Providing safe mental health services to homeless children and low-income families free of charge in Brazil.
